FOCUS offers comfort, hope, and fun to families with children who are medically fragile or have significant developmental or physical disabilities through a variety of programs. When a child with special needs, the family has special needs. At Halloween, FOCUS throws a Boo-B-Que for all the kids - and the CAREing Paws Dogs get to join in the fun!

Pawsitively de-stressing at UNG (cumming & Dahlonega), Georgia tech and mGSC
The CAREing Paws dogs were invited to UNG and Georgia Tech to help students de-stress during dead week, the week before final exams begin. We had the best time ever!!! Happy students = Straight A's!!!
All the CAREing Paws Dogs had a wonderful visit at Camp Inspiration! The camp brings in medically fragile children and their families to enjoy games, crafts, and singing. Moms and dads, who rarely have time for self-care, can take advantage of a variety of health screenings provided by the health sciences students or get a chair massage while the children have fun with the staff enjoying music, games, arts and crafts, and lots of photo opportunities with Toby the Mercer Mascot and the Chick-fil-A cow. One of the Jesse Mercer Stewards’ told us that the kids said visiting with the dogs was their most favorite part of Camp this year!!! - Photos courtesy of Dianne DaLee! Thank you!!!
