Koda
Koda was adopted in 2015 from Fulton county after she was found homeless wandering the streets of Atlanta. She has been a therapy dog many years, visiting kids, teens and adults at mental health hospitals and other places. She volunteered off and on several years as a MRI dog for an Emory neuroscience dog project, and even has a small credit in a book, “What it’s like to be a dog” by Emory neuroscience G. Berns. Koda’s previous and current hobbies include taking agility classes for fun, hiking Kennesaw mountain, traveling to New Orleans, the FL Keys (to see endangered Key deer), St Augustine, North Clearwater (beach hike towards Caladesi island) and the Appalachian trail. She enjoys spending time with her human teenage sister, Sammy, and dog brother, a mischievous therapy dog two year old Weimaraner named Alfred.
