Sammie is an English/American Labrador Retriever who loves belly rubs, swimming, playing with tennis balls and sniffing! She excels at every sport she has tried including dock diving, barn hunting, nosework, and agility. Sammie is a well-rounded athlete who enjoys a challenge, and of course, a great reward! Her favorite toy is a tennis ball and her favorite food is cookies (dog treats). 

Sammie is a certified therapy dog with Alliance of Therapy Dogs and a certified Reading Education Assistance Dog. Sammie regularly visits our local nursing homes, hospitals (including CHOA), rehab facilities, airports, college campuses, schools, and libraries. She especially enjoys visiting children and adults with special needs. Sammie’s favorite way to visit is with all four paws in the air!
