Meet Zen, the pawsitively adorable two-year-old dark sable German Shepherd hailing all the way from Tennessee! Born into a lineage of noble Czech Republic heritage, Zen's journey began in February of 2022. I had the pleasure of witnessing his growth until I brought him home to Newnan, Georgia in April of the same year. Zen is not just a pet but a cherished member of our family, sharing his adventures with our other German Shepherd, the lovely Roxy. Together, they're a dynamic duo of intensive training and fun. We dove headfirst into training, nurturing his confidence and skills. Zen's enthusiasm knows no bounds, especially when there's a ball involved! His love for nose work and skill with a few German commands make every training session a blast. Not only is Zen a comforting pup; he's a decorated champion! With titles from Obedience and Tricks to Canine Good Citizen, Zen’s resume is as impressive as his boundless energy. And let's not forget his most recent accolade: becoming a certified Therapy Dog in January of 2023. Zen's passion for lending a helping paw knows no bounds, and we can't wait to share his love at events with CAREing Paws.
